व॒यम॒द्येन्द्र॑स्य॒ प्रेष्ठा॑ व॒यं श्वो वो॑चेमहि सम॒र्ये । व॒यं पु॒रा महि॑ च नो॒ अनु॒ द्यून्तन्न॑ ऋभु॒क्षा न॒रामनु॑ ष्यात् ॥ (१०)

आज हम इंद्र के अत्यंत प्रिय बनकर यज्ञ में उनकी महिमा का वर्णन करेंगे. हमने प्राचीन काल में इंद्र की महिमा का वर्णन किया था और प्रतिदिन कर रहे हैं. इसलिए महान्‌ इंद्र अन्य लोगों की अपेक्षा हमारे अनुकूल बनें. (१०)

Today we will be extremely dear to Indra and narrate his glory in the yagna. We described the glory of Indra in ancient times and are everyday. So let the great Indra be friendly to us more than other people. (10)
