ए॒ष वः॒ स्तोमो॑ मरुतो॒ नम॑स्वान्हृ॒दा त॒ष्टो मन॑सा धायि देवाः । उपे॒मा या॑त॒ मन॑सा जुषा॒णा यू॒यं हि ष्ठा नम॑स॒ इद्वृ॒धासः॑ ॥ (२)

हे तेजस्वी मरुतो! तुम्हारे प्रति बोला जा रहा स्तोत्र अन्न सहित है. यह स्तोत्र तुम में श्रद्धा रखने वाली बुद्धि से निकला है, इसलिए हमारे प्रति कृपा करके मन से इसे सुनो एवं इसे स्वीकार करके शीघ्र आओ. तुम हविरूप अन्न की वृद्धि करने वाले हो. (२)
