शु॒ष्मिन्त॑मो॒ हि ते॒ मदो॑ द्यु॒म्निन्त॑म उ॒त क्रतुः॑ । वृ॒त्र॒घ्ना व॑रिवो॒विदा॑ मंसी॒ष्ठा अ॑श्व॒सात॑मः ॥ (५)

हे इंद्र! तुम्हारी प्रसन्नता सबसे अधिक शक्तिशाली है एवं तुम्हारे यज्ञ में सबसे अधिक अन्न होता है. हे अश्व रूप अनेक धन देने वाले इंद्र! तुम वृत्रघाती एवं धन देने वाले दोनों यज्ञों का समर्थन करो. (५)
