ए॒वा म॒हस्तु॑विजा॒तस्तुवि॑ष्मा॒न्बृह॒स्पति॑र्वृष॒भो धा॑यि दे॒वः । स नः॑ स्तु॒तो वी॒रव॑द्धातु॒ गोम॑द्वि॒द्यामे॒षं वृ॒जनं॑ जी॒रदा॑नुम् ॥ (८)

महान्‌, बहुतों के उपकार के लिए उत्तम, बलवान्‌, जलवर्षक एवं दीप्तिमान्‌ बृहस्पति की स्तुति इसी रूप में की जाती है. वे हमारी स्तुति सुनकर हमें विविध फल दें और हम अन्न, बल तथा दीर्घ आयु प्राप्त करें. (८)
