अह॒न्नहिं॒ पर्व॑ते शिश्रिया॒णं त्वष्टा॑स्मै॒ वज्रं॑ स्व॒र्यं॑ ततक्ष । वा॒श्रा इ॑व धे॒नवः॒ स्यन्द॑माना॒ अञ्जः॑ समु॒द्रमव॑ जग्मु॒रापः॑ ॥ (२)

इंद्र ने पर्वत पर आश्रय लेने वाले मेघ का वध किया. त्वष्टा ने इंद्र के लिए भली प्रकार फेंका जाने वाला वज्र बनाया. इसके बाद जल की वेगवती धाराएं उसी प्रकार समुद्र की ओर गई थीं, जिस प्रकार रंभाती हुई गाएं बछड़ों वाले घर की ओर जाती हैं. (२)

Indra killed the megh who took shelter on the mountain. Taksha created a well-to-do thunderbolt for Indra. After this, the velocity streams of water went towards the sea in the same way that the ramming cows go towards the house of the calves. (2)
