परा॑ चिच्छी॒र्षा व॑वृजु॒स्त इ॒न्द्राय॑ज्वानो॒ यज्व॑भिः॒ स्पर्ध॑मानाः । प्र यद्दि॒वो ह॑रिवः स्थातरुग्र॒ निर॑व्र॒ताँ अ॑धमो॒ रोद॑स्योः ॥ (५)

Hindi

हे इंद्र! जो लोग स्वयं यज्ञ नहीं करते हैं अथवा यज्ञ करने वालों का विरोध करते हैं, वे पीछे की ओर मुंह करके भाग गए हैं. हे इंद्र! तुम हरि नामक घोड़ों के स्वामी, युद्ध में पीठ न दिखाने वाले तथा उग्र हो. यज्ञ न करने वालों को तुमने स्वर्ग, आकाश और धरती से भगा दिया है. (५)

O Indra! Those who do not perform yajna themselves or oppose those who perform yajna have fled facing back. O Indra! You are the lord of the horses named Hari, the one who does not turn your backs in the war and are furious. You have driven away those who do not perform yajna from heaven, heaven and earth. (5)
