सं सी॑दस्व म॒हाँ अ॑सि॒ शोच॑स्व देव॒वीत॑मः । वि धू॒मम॑ग्ने अरु॒षं मि॑येध्य सृ॒ज प्र॑शस्त दर्श॒तम् ॥ (९)

Hindi

हे अग्नि! तुम भली प्रकार बैठो. तुम महान्‌ हो. तुम देवताओं की प्रबल इच्छा करते हुए जलो. हे बुद्धिमान्‌ एवं प्रशंसनीय अग्नि! तुम इधर-उधर फैलने वाले धुएं को विशेष रूप से बनाओ. (९)

O agni! You sit well. You're great. You burn while doing the strong will of the gods. O wise and praiseworthy agni! You make especially the smoke that spreads around. (9)
