श्रेष्ठं॒ यवि॑ष्ठ॒मति॑थिं॒ स्वा॑हुतं॒ जुष्टं॒ जना॑य दा॒शुषे॑ । दे॒वाँ अच्छा॒ यात॑वे जा॒तवे॑दसम॒ग्निमी॑ळे॒ व्यु॑ष्टिषु ॥ (४)

मैं उषाकाल में देव समूह के अभिमुख जाने के लिए श्रेष्ठ, अतिशय युवक, नित्य, चलने में सक्षम, सबके द्वारा बुलाए गए, हव्यदाता के प्रति प्रसन्न एवं सब प्राणियों को जानने वाले अग्नि की स्तुति करता हूं. (४)
