अद॑दा॒ अर्भां॑ मह॒ते व॑च॒स्यवे॑ क॒क्षीव॑ते वृच॒यामि॑न्द्र सुन्व॒ते । मेना॑भवो वृषण॒श्वस्य॑ सुक्रतो॒ विश्वेत्ता ते॒ सव॑नेषु प्र॒वाच्या॑ ॥ (१३)

हे इंद्र! तुमने यज्ञों में सोम निचोड़ने वाले एवं तुम्हारी स्तुति करने के इच्छुक वृद्ध कक्षीवान्‌ ऋषि को वृचया नामक युवती प्रदान की थी. हे शोभन कर्म करने वाले इंद्र! तुम वृषणाश्च राजा के घर मेना नामक कन्या के रूप में उत्पन्न हुए थे. सोमरस निचोड़ते समय तुम्हारी इन सब कथाओं का वर्णन होना चाहिए. (१३)

You were born in the house of the king of Taurus as a virgo named Mena. All these stories of yours should be described while squeezing the somras. (13)
