त्वं दि॒वो बृ॑ह॒तः सानु॑ कोप॒योऽव॒ त्मना॑ धृष॒ता शम्ब॑रं भिनत् । यन्मा॒यिनो॑ व्र॒न्दिनो॑ म॒न्दिना॑ धृ॒षच्छि॒तां गभ॑स्तिम॒शनिं॑ पृत॒न्यसि॑ ॥ (४)

हे इंद्र! तुमने विशाल आकाश के ऊपर उठा हुआ प्रदेश कंपित कर दिया था एवं शत्रुनाशक शक्ति द्वारा शंबर असुर का वध किया था. तुमने हर्षित एवं प्रगल्भ मन से तेज धार वाले तथा चमकीले वञ्र को मायावी असुर समूह की ओर चलाया था. (४)

O Indra! You had vibrated the land that had risen above the vast sky and killed the Shambar Asura with the destructive force. You led the joyful and cheerful mind to the bright-edged and bright vanwar towards the elusive Asura group. (4)
