वि॒दन्ती॒मत्र॒ नरो॑ धियं॒धा हृ॒दा यत्त॒ष्टान्मन्त्रा॒ँ अशं॑सन् ॥ (४)

समस्त हव्यरूप धन अपने हाथ में लेकर अग्नि के गुफा में छिप जाने पर सभी देव भयभीत हो गए. नेता एवं बुद्धिधारक देवों ने ज्यों ही बुद्धि निर्मित मंत्रों द्वारा अग्नि की स्तुति की, त्यों ही अग्नि को पा लिया. (४)

English

All the devas became frightened when agni hide in the cave with all the heavenly wealth. As soon as the leaders and the wise deities praised Agni through intellect-made mantras, they attained Agni. (4)
