होता॒ निष॑त्तो॒ मनो॒रप॑त्ये॒ स चि॒न्न्वा॑सां॒ पती॑ रयी॒णाम् ॥ (७)

हे अग्नि! तुम मनु की प्रजारूप यजमानों के देव आह्वानकारी एवं उनके धन के स्वामी थे. उन प्रजाओं ने पुत्र उत्पन्न करने की इच्छा से अपने शरीर में वीर्य की अभिलाषा की थी. वे मोह त्याग कर अपने समर्थ पुत्र के साथ चिरकाल तक जीवित हैं. (७)

O agni! You were the god invoker of the host of Manu's followers and the lord of their wealth. Those followers had desired semen in their bodies with the desire to produce sons. They renounced attachments and lives with their capable sons for a long time. (7)
