स॒ह॒स्रा॒क्षो विच॑र्षणिर॒ग्नी रक्षां॑सि सेधति । होता॑ गृणीत उ॒क्थ्यः॑ ॥ (१२)

असंख्य ज्वालाओं वाले एवं सबको विशेष रूप से देखने वाले अग्नि राक्षसों को यज्ञभूमि से भगाते हैं, वे हमारे द्वारा स्तोत्रों की सहायता से स्तुत होकर देवों को बुलाते एवं उनकी स्तुति करते हैं. (१२)
