इंद्र देव शरीर से बलिष्ठ एवं गुणों से युक्त होने के कारण महान्‌ हैं. वज्रधारी इंद्र को पूर्वोक्त महत्त्व प्राप्त हो. इंद्र की सेना आकाश के समान विस्तृत हो. (५)
