ऊ॒र्ध्वं नु॑नुद्रेऽव॒तं त ओज॑सा दादृहा॒णं चि॑द्बिभिदु॒र्वि पर्व॑तम् । धम॑न्तो वा॒णं म॒रुतः॑ सु॒दान॑वो॒ मदे॒ सोम॑स्य॒ रण्या॑नि चक्रिरे ॥ (१०)

मरुत्‌ अपनी शक्ति से कुएं को उखाड़कर ले चले. रास्ते में पर्वतों ने बाधा डाली तो उन्हें तोड़ दिया. शोभनदानयुक्त मरुतों ने वीणा बजाते हुए एवं सोमरस पीकर आनंदित होते हुए रमणीय धन दिया. (१०)

The desert uprooted the well with his power. The mountains on the way were interrupted and then they broke them. The adorned maruts gave delightful wealth while playing the veena and drinking the somras and enjoying themselves. (10)
