उद॑पप्तन्नरु॒णा भा॒नवो॒ वृथा॑ स्वा॒युजो॒ अरु॑षी॒र्गा अ॑युक्षत । अक्र॑न्नु॒षासो॑ व॒युना॑नि पू॒र्वथा॒ रुश॑न्तं भा॒नुमरु॑षीरशिश्रयुः ॥ (२)

चमकती हुई सूर्यरश्मियां अनायास उदित हुई. उषाओं ने रथ में जोतने योग्य शुभ्र किरणों को रथ में जोता एवं पूर्वकाल के समान समस्त प्राणियों को ज्ञानशील बनाया. इसके पश्चात्‌ चमकीली उषाओं ने शुभ्र वर्ण वाले सूर्य का आश्रय लिया. (२)

The shining sunglasses rose spontaneously. The Ushas made all beings aware of the auspicious rays that can be ploughed in the chariot and all beings as in the past. After this, the bright ushas took shelter in the sun with the white color. (2)
