श्रु॒धी नो॑ अग्ने॒ सद॑ने स॒धस्थे॑ यु॒क्ष्वा रथ॑म॒मृत॑स्य द्रवि॒त्नुम् । आ नो॑ वह॒ रोद॑सी दे॒वपु॑त्रे॒ माकि॑र्दे॒वाना॒मप॑ भूरि॒ह स्याः॑ ॥ (९)

हे अग्नि! तुम यज्ञशाला में सब देवों के साथ रहकर हमारी स्तुतियां सुनो, अमृत बरसाने वाले अपने रथ में घोड़े जोड़ो व देवों के माता-पिता द्यावा-पृथिवी को हमारे पास लाओ. तुम देवों को छोड़कर मत जाओ और यहीं रहो. (९)

O agni! You stay with all the gods in the yajnashala and listen to our praises, add horses to your chariot showering nectar and bring the parents of the gods, Dyava-Prithvi, to us. Don't leave the gods and stay here. (9)
