स॒मा॒नं पू॒र्वीर॒भि वा॑वशा॒नास्तिष्ठ॑न्व॒त्सस्य॑ मा॒तरः॒ सनी॑ळाः । ऋ॒तस्य॒ साना॒वधि॑ चक्रमा॒णा रि॒हन्ति॒ मध्वो॑ अ॒मृत॑स्य॒ वाणीः॑ ॥ (३)

चारों ओर शब्द करते हुए व बछड़े के समान विद्युत्‌-अग्नि की माता तुल्य जल वेन के साथ आकाश में स्थिर रहता है. जल के उत्पत्तिस्थान उच्च आकाश में बहते हुए मधुर जल का शब्द वेन को अलंकृत करता है. (३)

Speaking around and like a calf, the mother of agni remains constant in the sky with a water vane. The word of sweet water flowing in the high sky, the origin of the water, embellishes the vane. (3)
