यु॒जे वां॒ ब्रह्म॑ पू॒र्व्यं नमो॑भि॒र्वि श्लोक॑ एतु प॒थ्ये॑व सू॒रेः । श‍ृ॒ण्वन्तु॒ विश्वे॑ अ॒मृत॑स्य पु॒त्रा आ ये धामा॑नि दि॒व्यानि॑ त॒स्थुः ॥ (१)

हे हवि धारण करने वाली गाड़ियो! मैं प्राचीन मंत्रों का उच्चारण करके एवं तुम्हारे ऊपर सोम आदि लादकर पत्नीशाला से ले जाता हूं. स्तोता की आहुति के समान मेरी स्तुतियां देवों के समीप जावें. दिव्यधाम में रहने वाले देव एवं अमरपुत्र इस बात को सुनें. (१)
