इन्द्रः॑ सु॒त्रामा॒ स्ववा॒ँ अवो॑भिः सुमृळी॒को भ॑वतु वि॒श्ववे॑दाः । बाध॑तां॒ द्वेषो॒ अभ॑यं कृणोतु सु॒वीर्य॑स्य॒ पत॑यः स्याम ॥ (६)

उत्तम रक्षक, धनवान्‌ एवं सर्वज्ञ इंद्र अपने रक्षासाधनों द्वारा सुख पहुंचाने वाले बनें. वे शत्रुओं को बाधा पहुंचावें एवं हमें भयरहित बनावें. हम उत्तम बल के स्वामी बनें. (६)
