इ॒दं पि॒तृभ्यो॒ नमो॑ अस्त्व॒द्य ये पूर्वा॑सो॒ य उप॑रास ई॒युः । ये पार्थि॑वे॒ रज॒स्या निष॑त्ता॒ ये वा॑ नू॒नं सु॑वृ॒जना॑सु वि॒क्षु ॥ (२)

जो बाबा आदि पितर पहले मृत हुए हैं, जो बड़े भाई आदि पितर बाद में मृत हुए हैं, जो पृथिवी पर जन्म लेकर आ गए हैं अथवा जो शोभन धन वाली प्रजाओं के बीच हैं, उनके लिए यह नमस्कार है. (२)
