ये ता॑तृ॒षुर्दे॑व॒त्रा जेह॑माना होत्रा॒विदः॒ स्तोम॑तष्टासो अ॒र्कैः । आग्ने॑ याहि सुवि॒दत्रे॑भिर॒र्वाङ्स॒त्यैः क॒व्यैः पि॒तृभि॑र्घर्म॒सद्भिः॑ ॥ (९)

हे अग्नि! यज्ञ करने के ज्ञाता, स्तोत्रों और मंत्रों के बनाने वाले एवं क्रम से देवत्व पाने वाले जो पितर प्यासे हैं, उन्हें हमारे सामने लेकर आओ. वे पितर विशेष परिचित, विवादरहित, यज्ञ में बैठने वाले एवं हव्य ग्रहण करने वाले हैं. (९)

O agni! Bring before us the knower of performing yajna, the makers of hymns and mantras and those who have attained divinity in order and those who are thirsty for the father. They are the fathers special acquaintances, free of contention, those who sit in the yagna and receive the havan. (9)
