स्व॒स्ति॒दा वि॒शस्पति॑र्वृत्र॒हा वि॑मृ॒धो व॒शी । वृषेन्द्रः॑ पु॒र ए॑तु नः सोम॒पा अ॑भयंक॒रः ॥ (२)

कल्याणदाता, प्रजाओं के स्वामी, वृत्रनाशक, युद्ध करने वाले, शत्रु को वश में करने वाले, अभिलाषापूरक, सोमरस पीने वाले एवं अभयकर्ता इंद्र हमारे सामने आवें. (२)

The welfare giver, the masters of the people, the destroyers, the war-givers, the enemies, the desireists, the drinkers of somras and the abbeys, may Indra come before us. (2)
