सर॑स्वति॒ या स॒रथं॑ य॒याथ॑ स्व॒धाभि॑र्देवि पि॒तृभि॒र्मद॑न्ती । आ॒सद्या॒स्मिन्ब॒र्हिषि॑ मादयस्वानमी॒वा इष॒ आ धे॑ह्य॒स्मे ॥ (८)

हे सरस्वती! तुम पितरों के साथ स्वधा के उच्चारणपूर्वक दिए गए हव्य से प्रसन्न होती हुई उसके साथ एक रथ पर बैठकर आओ. इस यज्ञ के फैले हुए कुशों पर बैठकर आनंद करो एवं हमें निरोग बनाओ तथा अन्न दो. (८)

O Saraswati! You come to sit on a chariot with the fathers, pleased with the uttered havan of the Swadha. Sit on the stretched kushas of this yajna and enjoy and make us healthy and give us food. (8)
