इ॒मं त्रि॒तो भूर्य॑विन्ददि॒च्छन्वै॑भूव॒सो मू॒र्धन्यघ्न्या॑याः । स शेवृ॑धो जा॒त आ ह॒र्म्येषु॒ नाभि॒र्युवा॑ भवति रोच॒नस्य॑ ॥ (३)

विभूवस के पुत्र त्रित ऋषि ने पाने की इच्छा करके इन महान्‌ अग्नि को धरती के ऊपर प्राप्त किया था. सुख बढ़ाने वाले एवं युवा अग्नि यजमानों के घरों में सभी ओर से उत्पन्न होकर स्वर्ग की नाभि बनते हैं. (३)

Sage Trit, the son of Vibhuvas, had attained this great agni above the earth by wishing to get it. The happiness enhancers and the young agnis originate from all sides in the houses of hosts and become the navel of heaven. (3)
