अधा॒ ह्य॑ग्ने म॒ह्ना नि॒षद्या॑ स॒द्यो ज॑ज्ञा॒नो हव्यो॑ ब॒भूथ॑ । तं ते॑ दे॒वासो॒ अनु॒ केत॑माय॒न्नधा॑वर्धन्त प्रथ॒मास॒ ऊमाः॑ ॥ (७)

हे अग्नि! तुम महत्त्व से प्रज्वलित होते हुए यज्ञशाला में बैठकर उसी समय आहुति डालने योग्य हुए थे, इसलिए हव्यदाता ऋत्विज्‌ और यजमान तुम्हारी इस प्रकार की पहचान का अनुगमन करते हैं. (७)
