नि पर्व॑तः सा॒द्यप्र॑युच्छ॒न्सं मा॒तृभि॑र्वावशा॒नो अ॑क्रान् । दू॒रे पा॒रे वाणीं॑ व॒र्धय॑न्त॒ इन्द्रे॑षितां ध॒मनिं॑ पप्रथ॒न्नि ॥ (८)

वर्षा करने में सावधान बादल आकाश में आया एवं मातारूप जल के कारण बार-बार गरजता हुआ इधर-उधर घूमने लगा. आकाश में दूर-दूर तक शब्द को बढ़ाने वाले मरुतों ने इंद्र द्वारा प्रेरित उस ध्वनि को अच्छी तरह फैला दिया. (८)

A cloud of caution in the rain came into the sky and the mother started to move around again and again due to the water. The maruts who extended the word far and wide in the sky spread the sound inspired by Indra well. (8)
