विश्वे॒ ह्य॑स्मै यज॒ताय॑ धृ॒ष्णवे॒ क्रतुं॒ भर॑न्ति वृष॒भाय॒ सश्च॑ते । वृषा॑ यजस्व ह॒विषा॑ वि॒दुष्ट॑रः॒ पिबे॑न्द्र॒ सोमं॑ वृष॒भेण॑ भा॒नुना॑ ॥ (४)

हे यजमानो! सब लोग यज्ञ के योग्य, शत्रुसंहारक, कामवर्षक एवं सदा प्रस्तुत रहने वाले इंद्र के निमित्त यज्ञकर्म करते हैं. तुम भी सोमरस निचोड़ने में समर्थ एवं ज्ञानवान्‌ होने के कारण इंद्र के लिए यज्ञ करो. हे इंद्र तुम दीप्यमान्‌ अग्नि के साथ सोमपान करो. (४)

O hosts! All the people perform yajnakarma for the sake of the worthy of yajna, the enemy destroyer, the one who is a performer and the one who is always present. You also perform yajna for Indra because you are able to squeeze the somras and are knowledgeable. O Indra, you do sompan with the blazing agni. (4)
