ए॒वा नो॑ अग्ने अ॒मृते॑षु पूर्व्य॒ धीष्पी॑पाय बृ॒हद्दि॑वेषु॒ मानु॑षा । दुहा॑ना धे॒नुर्वृ॒जने॑षु का॒रवे॒ त्मना॑ श॒तिनं॑ पुरु॒रूप॑मि॒षणि॑ ॥ (९)

हे अमितप्रभा युक्त एवं देवों के पूर्ववर्ती अग्नि! मनुष्यों में हमारी स्तुति तुम्हें तृप्त करती है. जिस प्रकार दुधारू गाय यज्ञ के स्तोता को दूध देती है, उसी प्रकार तुम्हारी स्तुति असंख्य धन देती है. (९)
