यो अ॒प्स्वा शुचि॑ना॒ दैव्ये॑न ऋ॒तावाज॑स्र उर्वि॒या वि॒भाति॑ । व॒या इद॒न्या भुव॑नान्यस्य॒ प्र जा॑यन्ते वी॒रुध॑श्च प्र॒जाभिः॑ ॥ (८)

जो अपांनपात्‌ सत्ययुक्त, सदा एक रूप, विस्तीर्ण एवं जल के मध्य पवित्र देवतेज से सुशोभित हैं, सब भुवन उन्हीं की शाखाएं हैं एवं फूलफलों से युक्त वनस्पतियां उन्हीं से उत्पन्न हुई हैं. (८)

All the bhuvans which are adorned with the holy godtej in the midst of the water, always having a true form, perpetuated and in the midst of the water, are all their branches and the vegetation containing flowers is born from them. (8)
