नि होता॑ होतृ॒षद॑ने॒ विदा॑नस्त्वे॒षो दी॑दि॒वाँ अ॑सदत्सु॒दक्षः॑ । अद॑ब्धव्रतप्रमति॒र्वसि॑ष्ठः सहस्रम्भ॒रः शुचि॑जिह्वो अ॒ग्निः ॥ (१)

देवों का आह्वान करने वाले, विद्वान्‌, चमकते हुए, शोभन बलयुक्त, अहिंसित व्रत एवं उत्तम बुद्धि वाले, निवासस्थान देने वाले, असंख्य व्यक्तियों का भरणपोषण करने वाले एवं विशुद्ध ज्वालाओं वाले अग्नि होता के भवन में भली प्रकार बैठे. (१)

Those who invoke the gods, the scholars, the shining, the adorned, the strong, the non-violent fast and the best of wisdom, the abode-giver, the one who feeds on countless people, and the one with pure flames, sit well in the house of the agni. (1)
