उ॒रौ म॒हाँ अ॑निबा॒धे व॑व॒र्धापो॑ अ॒ग्निं य॒शसः॒ सं हि पू॒र्वीः । ऋ॒तस्य॒ योना॑वशय॒द्दमू॑ना जामी॒नाम॒ग्निर॒पसि॒ स्वसॄ॑णाम् ॥ (११)

महान्‌ अग्नि बाधारहित एवं विशाल आकाश में बढ़ते हैं, क्योंकि अनेक प्रकार के अन्नों से युक्त जल अग्नि को भली प्रकार बढ़ाता है. जल के उत्पत्ति स्थान आकाश में स्थित अग्नि नदीरूपी बहिनों के जल में शांतचित्त से सोते हैं. (११)

Great agnis grow in the uninterrupted and vast sky, because the water containing many kinds of grains increases the agni well. The origin of the water sleeps peacefully in the waters of the agni river-like sisters located in the sky. (11)
