आ होता॑ म॒न्द्रो वि॒दथा॑न्यस्थात्स॒त्यो यज्वा॑ क॒वित॑मः॒ स वे॒धाः । वि॒द्युद्र॑थः॒ सह॑सस्पु॒त्रो अ॒ग्निः शो॒चिष्के॑शः पृथि॒व्यां पाजो॑ अश्रेत् ॥ (१)

देवों का आह्वान करने वाले, स्तुतिकर्ताओं को प्रसन्न करने वाले, सत्यकर्मा, देवों के यज्ञकर्ता, अत्यंत मेधावी, जगत्‌ के विधाता, चमकीले रथ वाले, बल के पुत्र, ज्वालारूपी केश वाले एवं धरती पर अपनी प्रज्ञा प्रकट करने वाले अग्नि हमारे यज्ञ में स्थित हैं. (१)

The agni that invokes the gods, who pleases the praises, the satyakarmas, the yagyakartas of the gods, the most meritorious, the vidhatas of the world, the bright chariots, the sons of the force, the ones with the luster of the flames and the ones who manifest their wisdom on the earth are located in our yajna.
