प्र पी॑पय वृषभ॒ जिन्व॒ वाजा॒नग्ने॒ त्वं रोद॑सी नः सु॒दोघे॑ । दे॒वेभि॑र्देव सु॒रुचा॑ रुचा॒नो मा नो॒ मर्त॑स्य दुर्म॒तिः परि॑ ष्ठात् ॥ (६)

हे कामवर्षक अग्नि! तुम हमारे अभिलषित फल बढ़ाओ तथा अन्न प्रदान करो. हे देव! शोभन किरणों द्वारा प्रकाशित तुम देवों के साथ मिलकर धरती-आकाश को हमारे लिए फलप्रद बनाओ. शत्रुओं संबंधी पराभव हमारे समीप न आवे. (६)

O working agni! You increase our desired fruits and give us food. Oh, God! Together with you gods illuminated by the rays of adornment, make the earth and the sky fruitful for us. Let the defeat of the enemies not come near us. (6)
