यथाय॑जो हो॒त्रम॑ग्ने पृथि॒व्या यथा॑ दि॒वो जा॑तवेदश्चिकि॒त्वान् । ए॒वानेन॑ ह॒विषा॑ यक्षि दे॒वान्म॑नु॒ष्वद्य॒ज्ञं प्र ति॑रे॒मम॒द्य ॥ (२)

हे जातवेद एवं सर्वज्ञ अग्नि! तुमने जिस प्रकार यजमानरूप पृथ्वी का हवि स्वीकार किया, जिस प्रकार आकाश देवता का द्रव्य स्वीकार किया, उसी प्रकार हमारे यज्ञ में होता बनकर देवों को उनका भाग प्रदान करो. तुम मनु के यज्ञ के समान हमारा यज्ञ आज पूरा करो. (२)

O Jativeda and omniscient agni! Just as you have accepted the glory of the earth as the host, just as you have accepted the substance of the heavens, so in our yajna, become the part of the gods and give their share to the gods. You complete our yajna today like manu's yajna. (2)
