वि॒शां क॒विं वि॒श्पतिं॒ मानु॑षी॒रिषः॒ सं सी॑मकृण्व॒न्स्वधि॑तिं॒ न तेज॑से । स उ॒द्वतो॑ नि॒वतो॑ याति॒ वेवि॑ष॒त्स गर्भ॑मे॒षु भुव॑नेषु दीधरत् ॥ (१०)

धन की इच्छा करने वाली मानवी प्रजाओं ने प्रजाओं के स्वामी एवं मेधावी अग्नि का इसलिए संस्कार किया कि वे धार लगी हुई तलवार के समान तेजस्वी हो जावें. अग्नि ऊंचे तथा नीचे स्थानों को व्याप्त करते हुए जाते हैं एवं सभी लोकों में अपना गर्भ धारण करते हैं. (१०)

The human subjects who wanted money performed the rites of the masters of the people and the brilliant agni so that they would be as bright as a sharpened sword. Fires permeate the high and low places and conceive themselves in all the realms. (10)
