आ रोद॑सी अपृण॒दा स्व॑र्म॒हज्जा॒तं यदे॑नम॒पसो॒ अधा॑रयन् । सो अ॑ध्व॒राय॒ परि॑ णीयते क॒विरत्यो॒ न वाज॑सातये॒ चनो॑हितः ॥ (७)

अग्नि ने धरती, आकाश एवं विशाल स्वर्ग को भर दिया था. यजमानों ने अग्नि को धारण किया था. क्रांतदर्शी एवं अन्नयुक्त अग्नि घोड़े के समान अन्न पाने के लिए लाए जाते हैं. (७)

Fire had filled the earth, the sky, and the vast heaven. The hosts held the agni. Rhinoscopes and granaries are brought to get food like a horse. (7)
