अ॒ग्निर्ने॒ता भग॑ इव क्षिती॒नां दैवी॑नां दे॒व ऋ॑तु॒पा ऋ॒तावा॑ । स वृ॑त्र॒हा स॒नयो॑ वि॒श्ववे॑दाः॒ पर्ष॒द्विश्वाति॑ दुरि॒ता गृ॒णन्त॑म् ॥ (४)

ऋतुओं के पालक सूर्य के समान जो अग्नि मानवों और देवों के नियामक, सत्यकर्मा, वृत्रनाशक, सनातन, सर्वज्ञाता एवं तेजस्वी हैं, वे स्तुतिकर्ता के सारे पापों का अतिक्रमण करके पार लगावें. (४)

Like the sun, the guardian of the seasons, the agni which is the regulator of human beings and gods, the satyakarma, the vrithrashakta, the eternal, the omniscient and the brightest, let them transcend all the sins of the praiseor. (4)
