यु॒धेन्द्रो॑ म॒ह्ना वरि॑वश्चकार दे॒वेभ्यः॒ सत्प॑तिश्चर्षणि॒प्राः । वि॒वस्व॑तः॒ सद॑ने अस्य॒ तानि॒ विप्रा॑ उ॒क्थेभिः॑ क॒वयो॑ गृणन्ति ॥ (७)

देवों के स्वामी एवं मानवों के कामपूरक इंद्र ने महान्‌ युद्ध के द्वारा धन प्राप्त करके स्तोताओं को दिया. मेधावी स्तोतागण यजमान के घर में मंत्रों द्वारा उन कर्मों की प्रशंसा करते हैं. (७)

Indra, the lord of the gods and the doer of human beings, received wealth through the great war and gave it to the Stotas. The meritorious stotas praise those deeds by chanting mantras in the host's house. (7)
