रू॒पंरू॑पं म॒घवा॑ बोभवीति मा॒याः कृ॑ण्वा॒नस्त॒न्वं१॒॑ परि॒ स्वाम् । त्रिर्यद्दि॒वः परि॑ मुहू॒र्तमागा॒त्स्वैर्मन्त्रै॒रनृ॑तुपा ऋ॒तावा॑ ॥ (८)

इंद्र इच्छानुसार रूप बदल लेते हैं. माया करते हुए इंद्र अपने शरीर को नाना प्रकार का बनाते हैं. सत्ययुक्त होकर भी बिना ऋतु के सोमपान करने वाले इंद्र अपने स्तुति-मंत्रों से बुलाए जाने पर एक मुहूर्त में स्वर्गलोक से तीनों सवनों के यज्ञों में पहुंच जाते हैं. (८)

Indra changes the form according to his will. While doing Maya, Indra makes his body of various kinds. Indra, who performs sompan without the season despite being truthful, reaches the yagnas of the three saavans from the heavenly place in one muhurat when called with his hymns of praise and mantras.
