पृ॒क्षप्र॑यजो द्रविणः सु॒वाचः॑ सुके॒तव॑ उ॒षसो॑ रे॒वदू॑षुः । उ॒तो चि॑दग्ने महि॒ना पृ॑थि॒व्याः कृ॒तं चि॒देनः॒ सं म॒हे द॑शस्य ॥ (१०)

हे नित्य गमनशील अग्नि! जिन उषाओं में अन्न द्वारा विधिपूर्वक यज्ञ किया जाता है, शोभन स्तुतियां बोली जाती हैं एवं जो पक्षियों तथा मानवों के विविध शब्दों से पहचानी जाती हैं, वे उषाएं तुम्हारे लिए संपत्तिशालिनी बनकर प्रकाशित होती हैं. हे अग्नि! तुम अपनी विस्तीर्ण ज्वाला की विशालता से यजमान द्वारा किया हुआ समस्त पाप समाप्त करो. The ushas in which yajna is performed legally by food, the adornment hymns are spoken, and which are identified by the various words of birds and human beings, those ushas are published to you as wealth. O agni! You end all the sin sin sin committed by the host by the vastness of your vast flame. (10)
