तद्भ॒द्रं तव॑ दं॒सना॒ पाका॑य चिच्छदयति । त्वां यद॑ग्ने प॒शवः॑ स॒मास॑ते॒ समि॑द्धमपिशर्व॒रे ॥ (७)

हे अग्नि! तुम संध्याकाल में दीप्त होते हो, तब पशु तुम्हारे चारों ओर बैठते हैं. पशु के समान अल्पज्ञ यजमान को भी तुम्हारा शोभन यज्ञकर्म फल देकर संतुष्ट करता है. (७)

O agni! You are bright in the evening, then the animals sit around you. Like an animal, even the little-known host is satisfied by giving the fruits of your shobhan yajnakarma. (7)
