आ जु॑होता स्वध्व॒रं शी॒रं पा॑व॒कशो॑चिषम् । आ॒शुं दू॒तम॑जि॒रं प्र॒त्नमीड्यं॑ श्रु॒ष्टी दे॒वं स॑पर्यत ॥ (८)

Hindi

हे ऋत्विजो! पवित्र प्रकाश वाले, लकड़ियों में सोने वाले एवं शोभनयज्ञयुक्त अग्नि में हवन करो तथा यज्ञकर्म में व्याप्त, देवों के दूत, शीघ्रगामी, पुरातन, स्तुति योग्य एवं दीप्तिसंपन्न अग्नि की शीघ्र पूजा करो. (८)

Hey Ritvijo! Perform havan in the agni of the holy light, the one who sleeps in the woods and is adorned with adornment, and worship the angels of the gods, the early, the old, the praiseworthy and the bright, the agni that is present in the yagnakarma. (8)
