नेश॒त्तमो॒ दुधि॑तं॒ रोच॑त॒ द्यौरुद्दे॒व्या उ॒षसो॑ भा॒नुर॑र्त । आ सूर्यो॑ बृह॒तस्ति॑ष्ठ॒दज्रा॑ँ ऋ॒जु मर्ते॑षु वृजि॒ना च॒ पश्य॑न् ॥ (१७)

उषा की प्रेरणा से रात का अंधकार नष्ट हुआ एवं आकाश चमकने लगा. इसके बाद उषा का प्रकाश उत्पन्न हुआ. मनुष्यों के सत्‌ एवं असत्‌ कमो को देखते हुए सूर्य महान्‌ पर्वत के ऊपर पहुंच गए. (१७)

With usha's inspiration, the darkness of the night was destroyed and the sky began to shine. After this, usha's light was born. Seeing the truth and miscovernance of human beings, the sun reached the great mountain. (17)
