स सु॒ष्टुभा॒ स ऋक्व॑ता ग॒णेन॑ व॒लं रु॑रोज फलि॒गं रवे॑ण । बृह॒स्पति॑रु॒स्रिया॑ हव्य॒सूदः॒ कनि॑क्रद॒द्वाव॑शती॒रुदा॑जत् ॥ (५)

बृहस्पति ने शोभन स्तुति करने वाले एवं दीप्तिसंपन्न अंगिराओं के साथ मिलकर शब्द करते हुए बल नामक असुर को नष्ट किया था एवं शब्द करते हुए ही हव्य की प्रेरणा करने वाली र॑भाती हुई गायों को बाहर निकाला था. (५)
