अ॒स्य वासा उ॑ अ॒र्चिषा॒ य आयु॑क्त तु॒जा गि॒रा । दि॒वो न यस्य॒ रेत॑सा बृ॒हच्छोच॑न्त्य॒र्चयः॑ ॥ (३)

जो अग्नि जगत्-रक्षण-समर्थ, स्तुति से युक्त एवं आदित्य के समान दीप्तिशाली हैं, जिन अग्नि की प्रभा से सारा जगत्‌ व्याप्त है एवं जिनकी विशाल दीप्तियां प्रकाशित होती हैं, उन्हीं अग्नि की प्रभा से आदित्य प्रकाश वाला बनता है. (३)

The agni which is world-protected, full of praise and as bright as Aditya, the presence of agni by which the whole world is pervaded and whose huge lights are illuminated, from the aura of the same agni, Aditya becomes light. (3)
