अ॒स्माक॑मग्ने अध्व॒रं जु॑षस्व॒ सह॑सः सूनो त्रिषधस्थ ह॒व्यम् । व॒यं दे॒वेषु॑ सु॒कृतः॑ स्याम॒ शर्म॑णा नस्त्रि॒वरू॑थेन पाहि ॥ (८)

हे अग्नि! हम लोगों के यज्ञ को स्वीकार करो. हे बल के पुत्र एवं तीन स्थानों में रहने वाले अग्नि! तुम हव्य को स्वीकार करो. हम देवों के मध्य रहकर शोभन कर्म करने वाले बनें. तुम तीन प्रकार के उत्तम सुखों द्वारा हमारी रक्षा करो. (८)

O agni! Let us accept the sacrifice of the people. O son of the force and the agni that dwells in three places! You accept the havya. We should be the doers of adornment by staying among the gods. You protect us by three kinds of exquisite pleasures. (8)
