त्वाम॑ग्ने॒ मानु॑षीरीळते॒ विशो॑ होत्रा॒विदं॒ विवि॑चिं रत्न॒धात॑मम् । गुहा॒ सन्तं॑ सुभग वि॒श्वद॑र्शतं तुविष्व॒णसं॑ सु॒यजं॑ घृत॒श्रिय॑म् ॥ (३)

हे शोभन धन वाले, यज्ञ के ज्ञाता, सत्‌-असत्‌ के विवेचक रत्न देने वालों में उत्तम, गुहा में स्थित, सबके दर्शनीय, अधिक शब्द करने वाले, शोभन-यज्ञकर्तता एवं घी का आश्रय लेने वाले अग्नि! यजमान तुम्हारी स्तुति करते हैं. (३)

O you who have wealth, the knower of yajna, the knower of the sat-asat, the best of the gems who give the gems, located in the cavity, the seeable of all, the more word-doers, the agni that takes refuge in shobhan-yajnakarta and ghee! Hosts praise you. (3)
