ए॒षा व्ये॑नी भवति द्वि॒बर्हा॑ आविष्कृण्वा॒ना त॒न्वं॑ पु॒रस्ता॑त् । ऋ॒तस्य॒ पन्था॒मन्वे॑ति सा॒धु प्र॑जान॒तीव॒ न दिशो॑ मिनाति ॥ (४)

अंतरिक्ष के दो भागों में स्थित यह उज्ज्वल उषा पूर्वदिशा से अपना शरीर प्रकट कर रही है. वह जगत्‌ को अपना ज्ञान कराती हुई सूर्य के मार्ग पर भली प्रकार चल रही है. यह दिशाओं की हिंसा नहीं करती. (४)
