अ॒ग्निर्हि वि॒द्मना॑ नि॒दो दे॒वो मर्त॑मुरु॒ष्यति॑ । स॒हावा॒ यस्यावृ॑तो र॒यिर्वाजे॒ष्ववृ॑तः ॥ (५)

शक्तिशाली एवं ज्ञानसंपन्न अग्नि उस यजमान की निंदकों से रक्षा करते हैं, जिसका हव्य यज्ञो में राक्षसों आदि से अछूता होता है एवं जो अन्य देवों के यजमानों से पृथक्‌ होता है. (५)

The powerful and knowledgeable agni protects the host from the blasphemers, whose heart is insulated from the demons etc. in the yagnas and which is separated from the hosts of other gods. (5)
